What is MHHS?
This section has a short video explaining MHHS, key timelines and updates as and when they happen!
Important Note:
Meter Migration:
1st May 2026 : The first big meter migration begins. We expect about 250,000 to 500,000 meters to be migrated across the following suppliers:
-
Yu Energy
-
EDF Energy
-
E.On Next
-
Drax Energy
Quoting for Migrated Meters in Broker 360:
All suppliers are now quoting on the Broker 360 software. The exceptions are:
E.On Next and Smartest Energy: They should be quoting in the next 2 weeks
Utilita and Corona Energy: There is no planned dates for when they will start quoting
kVA / Capacity Charges Post-MHHS
After MHHS rollout, measurement class should no longer be used to determine whether kVA / DUoS capacity charges apply.
For legacy HH meters, this field may still appear temporarily, but it is not a reliable indicator.
Going forward, capacity charges are based on:
- Actual demand, and
- DNO-authorised capacity and not settlement classification.
