You'll contribute across the entire product lifecycle, from identifying user pain points and conceptualising solutions to crafting intuitive interfaces that delight users. In this role, you’ll use your full range of design skills to push boundaries, balancing user needs with business objectives in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Who is POWWR?

POWWR are a software as a service product company operating in the retail energy space. With an award-winning set of SaaS solutions that help energy suppliers and brokers alike win more deals, better manage risk, and grow their businesses. What will you be doing?

  • Design and iterate on user-centred solutions for our SaaS platform through sketches, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Validate designs using user feedback, usability metrics, competitive analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Partner closely with engineers to bring designs to life, addressing constraints and iterating rapidly.

As our design practise grows, we are looking for candidates who are able to?

  • Engage with stakeholders, clients, and engineers to ensure designs meet user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Advocate for a balance between product strategy and user needs, challenging assumptions and refining requirements where necessary.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to align on goals and promote a shared understanding of challenges and solutions.
  • Conduct design and user research, including validation testing, to inform your designs.
  • Build and maintain scalable design systems that support consistency across the platform.

  • Experienced in Agile and Lean workflows, collaborating seamlessly with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Open and communicative: Skilled in presenting ideas and facilitating feedback from diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable co-creating: Actively involve team members to refine and iterate on ideas, fostering shared ownership of design outcomes.

Innovative and User-Focused:

  • Passionate about solving complex SaaS challenges and creating intuitive, user-friendly solutions.
  • A systems thinker: You can see the bigger picture while attending to the finer details.
  • Data-driven: You use data and research to validate design decisions and guide iterative improvements.
