About the job

To undertake software development on the POWWR core products working within an AGILE methodology.

Key Tasks

To develop software utilising the following languages:

• C# 
• Asp.Net
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• T-SQL
• Sass
• HTML
• VueJS, or knowledge of any similar frameworks
• Sass 

To understand and utilise software methodologies incl POWWRing:

• SOLID Principals
• Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Agile Scrum
• Continuous Integration

To demonstrate ability to work on the following platforms:

• Git
• Jira
• ReSharper
• Develop and design RESTful services and APIs Azure
• TeamCity/Azure Pipelines
• TFS

Work actively with the development team, Test team, Product Owners and others to ensure best possible quality. Inclusive of verbal and written communication. 

Take part in Scrum Ceremonies such as Planning and Estimation meetings, Retrospectives and morning stand-ups. 

Measure of Performance

• Development output and feedback from functional testing/UAT
• Achievement of scrum milestones and development targets. 
• Development output
• Involvement/Visible contribution to projects 
• Involvement/visible contribution to Scrum

Required Proficiencies

• Sound knowledge and proven track record of development languages. 
• Ability to hit the ground running
• Comfortable working alone without much guidance or as a part of the team
• Ability to work and implement software methodology
• Experience in working on a variety of platforms.
• Effective team working and communication skills.
