Requirements

POWWR is looking for an individual with 8-10 years of technical experience in applications development and 2-3 years as a development lead. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work closely with all areas of the business to interpret specific needs and develop solutions that are directly correlated to strategic objectives set by upper management. This individual will also possess the ability to translate the business needs into solutions that can be carried out by themselves also in coordination with applications engineers that report up to this position. Business areas of focus will be with but not limited to electric & natural gas suppliers. Concepts applied will consist of web API, UI/UX, application diagramming, solutions architecture.

 

Responsibilities

• Working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team
• Planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design
• Designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements
• Directing the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications
• Writing testable, scalable, and efficient code and leading code reviews
• Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determined software quality standards
