Background to Requirement

POWWR is at an incredibly exciting time in its evolution and although the company is small, we are incredibly ambitious.   The continued growth and appetite to add value means the business is seeking to grow its Brokerage team with a specific emphasis on the I&C channel in the UK market.


Summary of Requirements

Reporting into the VP of Broker Operations, the key responsibility of the role is to develop and manage the I&C account channel within our internal Brokerage business.

The role will involve a combination of new business, account exploitation, generating leads and managing prospective customers. This is an outbound sales based position. Your daily role will involve being on top of your numbers and ensuring that your target is being achieved. You will be responsible for growing a pipeline and developing a plan to exceed your target.

You will display an ability to clearly identify any problems in your sales attainment and will contribute to the strategic discussion around how to achieve more revenue. You will also analyse business opportunities and provides timely inputs into the sales team to change/adapt processes.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships with new clients, converting leads into sales.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to promote lead generation.
  • Work with Credit Control to ensure payment timelines are adhered to.
  • Ensure sales are delivered aligned to the agreed sales target
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to support the customer journey
  • Undertake customer meetings onsite where required.
  • Liaise and feedback to the Marketing team, providing guidance and feedback on the quality of lead generation.
  • Build successful relationships including through referrals

Skills & Experiences

  • Previous experience in direct sales and working to a target or in growing a B2B Sales team
  • The ability to manage broker relationship and provide a high level of service
  • Experience in the energy broker market specifically I&C with a minimum of 2 years industry knowledge
  • You will have experience of developing relationships and account management based activity


Location and package 

This role will be based is UK based with a preference for an North West location.  Remote working is in place with occasional travel to the Manchester office or other locations as required.
